To increase the current scope of the center by initiating and conducting programs which not only meet the needs of young people and empowering them, but also providing them with the prerequisite skills that would make them to be gainfully employed or embark on their own trade to generate income.

The Fajara Skills Development Centre has a five year project plan with a sole aim of addressing a permanent location for the centre. The centre was operating at the Proprietress’ premises. Now, due to lack of space it is renting 5 Atlantic Boulevard, Fajara.

To construct a skill centre, multi – purpose hall, two dormitories, a kitchen, laundry block and generator house.

To provide solar energy and solar powered water systems in the Skills Development Centre.

To train 500 students per year in hair dressing, beauty therapy, designing, tailoring, home management, food preservation and production of local cosmetics.

To date the skills centre has trained 500 students who are pursuing their chosen careers. One of them is running the New Look Salon. Another at Elysium in Churchills Town to mention a few.
